Who we are

The Open University of Cyprus (OUC, est. 2002) is a distance education public university delivering teaching to students not physically present in a traditional educational setting, via a state of the art technological infrastructure and educational methodology. It offers 29 undergraduate and Master's programmes and 10 doctoral programs, in Greek and English to almost 8500 students. OUC follows the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Some of the programs are joint with Universities in Cyprus, Greece and the USA as a result of a large network of international collaborations.

Sustainability Metrics is a startup SME that offers consulting services for Environmental footprint determination, reporting and mitigation for products, companies, organizations and events. The SME applies Life Cycle Assessment for the determination of the environmental impact of products, services, projects, construction, organizations and events. The best practices towards environmental impact mitigation are identified. The target is to assist clients to change their practices towards circular economy and sustainability. The company personnel has participated in several projects under these topics.

University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) is a young public, state-funding, academic institution, established in 1998,  strongly committed to higher education, research and innovation. Part of the European Universities Association (EUA), it includes fourteen Departments, in the fields of ICT, Educational Sciences, Economics, Business Administration and Management, Law, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, Medicine, Psychology and Sociology.  Departments are complemented in their research activities by more than 30 university and inter-university Research Centers.
